§ 3-2. Resolutions—Passage.

  • A resolution of the city need be read in full only once, may be passed at the meeting at which it is introduced and shall become a proper and valid resolution of the city immediately upon passage, unless it specifies a later date to become effective. It may be passed upon a majority vote of the commission and need be signed only by the mayor and attested by the city clerk, except where this Charter specifie[s] otherwise.
